since there are not so many people come to this blog, i have a plan to close it down :)

after the national exam + talks

i've passed the national exam. phew! it wasn't as scary as i thought, and of course not as scary as some (irresponsible) teachers say. i did quite good, and for me it wasn't very difficult. thank God!

now, i have to prepare to face the school exam. most school guaranteed their students to pass the exam, but that doesn't work for my school. although school doesn't wanna get embarassed by students who fail in school exam, that is still not a guarantee. oh i have to study. damn.

hmm i'm drawing and watching movies like a madman nowadays. hehe. off topic, but i'm going to talk about posers in the next entry :) no offense.

one week left.

next week i'm gonna face my national final exam. i gotta prepare both my brain and my mental. haha. my tryouts resulted good, but still i think i have to be very sure that i'm gonna make it through the exam and successfully graduate highschool. please support me, anyone who reads this journal...

seriously, it's all so stupid

the Indonesian Government or specifically the Ministry of Education is acting funny nowadays.

well, i'm a highschool student and i'm going to graduate this year. so this is written from a student's point of view.

the National Final Exam will be held this April, which is a month faster than usual. for Social Studies students, the National Final Exam materials are Economy (including Accounting, Commerce, and Economic Theories), Bahasa Indonesia and English. all 3 of them must NOT score less than 4.25 - that's the National Graduation Standard and that is a MUST.

anyways, the National Final Exam implementation of course affects my school's Final Exams. as you can see, here in Indonesia there are two final exams : School Final Exam (which is given by each schools) and National Final Exam. the National Final Exam is given by the government to fulfil the National Standard.

so, what's the bad news?

this year's National Final Exam is different. it is held before the School Final Exam. usually, it is held after the School Final Exam. and this ain't no good because schools will be lacking of time to finish their study materials.

to adjust the materials left with the effective schooldays left, teachers in my school are speeding up. but, not all students can cope with high-speed studies, and not everybody is a quick-learner. as the result, most of the students in my school have their scores decreased.

a week ago, my school had a Try-Out for the National Final Exam and most students - specifically, my class - scored quite bad. although there is possibility that it's because the students don't study, but it is also probable that it's because the effective time to study is not enough. to make things worse, both Final Exams' materials are taken from first, second and third year in highschool. if there is no enough time to recall all those past studies, the students will be so very dead.

and the government doesn't care, of course.
